High Fault Tolerance – GNS operates four DNS servers across geographically diverse locations. The replication of Exchange server databases (DAG; Database Availability Group) is also distributed across four different locations, known as “Geo Clustering.” This minimizes the risk of service disruptions.

Support for “Apps” – With Service Pack 1, support for “apps” has been added. For example, if you receive a message with an address, you can open the “Bing Maps” service to view a map of the address and get directions.

Microsoft Exchange Web Services (EWS) – You can use Microsoft Exchange Web Services (EWS) Managed API for your applications or scripts.

Offline Work – Work offline with Outlook Web App. A new feature in Hosted Exchange 2019 allows users to work in “webmail” even without internet access. Users can create and send emails, and once they reconnect to the internet, changes are synchronized and emails are sent.

Calendars – Users can now view multiple calendars in a combined view. Entries from each calendar are color-coded, making it easy to identify which calendar an entry belongs to. In the “To Do” window, users can view multiple calendars either in a combined view or in separate columns.

The monthly view now includes an agenda for the selected day, providing more useful information when reviewing daily activities. In all calendar views, users can click on an item to view a “pop-up” window with details of the item.
