By using the Split domain a user out of a domain having mail service hosted Exchange while the rest out of the users can use email services out easier. We set up the service so that they work as if it were one and the same environment, which means that e-mail is distributed between our system and an external system working together as if they were in an environment.

It is especially useful for companies or organizations that want only a few users who have hosted exchange while that for the other users enough POP / IMAP or webmil.

It is also particularly useful when migrating out of a larger number of users who do not take place at the same time.
